By the means of a music map and an additional DVD, including interviews and music
clips, ‘Subtirol’ provides music lovers with information about the extraordinary
music scene in Southtyrol. The altitude of the mountains and the depth of the
valleys represent the results of an analysis of the South Tyrolean music scene,
with special focus on the existing local bands, thus creating the musical
landscape ‘Subtirol’.
By using cartographic and ethnographic methods and integrating statements
made by local musicians, organisers, youth workers and media designers a
map of the South Tyrolean music scene evolves.
From Autumn on, Subtirol will be available in every youth-center in south Tyrol!
